Esta resposta mostrou-se distinta da observada no estudo da influência da temperatura, entre 25 e 40 ºC, sem choque térmico; ### Abstract: Influence of temperature on Saccharomyces cerevisiae proliferation in the presence of nanoparticles of titanium dioxide S. cerevisiae UE-ME3 and BY4741, replied to 28/40 ºC heat-shock and NP-TiO2 (1 g/mL) exposition with a significant decrease of supernatant post-12,000 g protein and non-protein thiols contents, ALP, G6PD, GPx and CAT A activities, as well as a significant increase in LOX activity. The tight MDA and ROS levels detected in these conditions can be explained for UE-ME3 strain by the increase of CAT T activity, while for BY4741 strain by the upper antioxidant power (DPPH), possibly dependent of phenolic content. These results suggest an induction of cell death by 28/40 °C heat shock combined with exposure to NP-TiO2 (1μg/mL) in both strains, most evident in the UE-ME3 with an optimal growth at 28 °C and a minimum at 40 °C. This response was shown distinct from that observed in the study of the influence of temperature, between 25 and 40 °C without heat-shock.por
