O Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica e o percurso de cuidados da criança e jovem em situação de urgência psiquiátrica

Abstract

Relatório elaborado no âmbito do 5º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem em Associação na Área de Especialização de Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica. Reporta a realização de estágio em contexto de Urgência Pedopsiquiátrica, que fundamenta a aquisição e desenvolvimento de competências pelo Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica e Mestre em Enfermagem. O relatório foi desenvolvido com a Metodologia de Projeto e recorreu-se à Scoping Review e Estudo de Caso para reunir evidências científicas e foi elaborado um Guião de Apoio a Triagem para pedopsiquiatria. O Enfermeiro é fundamental no percurso de cuidados dos jovens e crianças em urgência psiquiátrica, tal como Travelbee defende, devendo ajudar a pessoa a encontrar as respostas aos seus problemas, assim como refletir e compreender a interação com a pessoa e tomar consciência de si. As metodologias adotadas possibilitaram a consecução dos objetivos propostos para o presente relatório, tendo sido o maior deles a aprendizagem, ganho de competências e experiência na relação terapêutica com as crianças e jovens e o integrar da família/responsável nos cuidados. Através de formação, investigação e partilha de experiências, o EEESMP pode fazer a diferença no contexto de Urgência Pedopsiquiátrica face a avaliação do risco, sempre na procura de ajudar a identificar os problemas e a procurar as melhores respostas momento e com os recursos que tem; The Specialist Nurse in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing and the course of care for children and teens in psychiatric situations ABSTRACT: Report prepared within the scope of the 5th Master's Degree Course in Nursing in Association in the Specialisation Area of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing. It reports on the completion of an internship in the context of Child and Adolescent Emergency Care, which supports the acquisition and development of skills by the Nurse Specialist in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing and Master in Nursing. The report was developed using the Project Methodology and resorted to Scoping Review and Case Study to gather scientific evidence and a Screening Support Guide for Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Triage was developed. As Travelbee argues, the Nurse is essential in the care of young people and children in psychiatric emergency, and should help the person to find answers to their problems, as well as reflect on and understand the interaction with the person and become self-aware. The methodologies adopted enabled the achievement of the objectives proposed for this report, the greatest of which were learning, gaining skills and experience in the therapeutic relationship with children and youth and integrating the family/caregiver in the care. Through training, research and sharing of experiences, the Nurse Specialist in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing can make a difference in the context of the Pediatric Emergency Department in the face of risk assessment, always seeking to help identify the problems and seek the best responses at the time and with the resources they have.
