EP4332150A1 - METHOD OF BLENDING POLYETHYLENE BASED BLENDS

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of blending polyethylene based blends based on a correlation between the at least one first property related to the broadness of the molecular weight distribution curve of polyethylene based blends, the at least one second property related to the molecular weight of polyethylene based blends and the one property related to the target property of a certain application for which the blended polyethylene based blends are intended to be used, polyethylene blends blended by said method having a time to failure of at least 5 hours in full notch creep test (FNCT), determined according to ISO 16770 or a time to failure of at least 10 hours in environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) test of bottle according to ASTM D2561, and articles comprising said polyethylene blends.
