Intervenção psicomotora com crianças institucionalizadas em Casa de Acolhimento Residencial

Abstract

O presente relatório teve como principal objetivo descrever as atividades realizadas em âmbito de estágio curricular de Mestrado em Psicomotricidade que decorreu numa Casa de Acolhimento Residencial. A estagiária, num acompanhamento tanto individual como grupal, realizou uma intervenção psicomotora de base relacional com as crianças vítimas de maus-tratos. Analisaram-se os projetos terapêuticos de quatro crianças com especial enfoque nos dois estudos de caso, onde se apresentou a anamnese, hipóteses explicativas, os resultados das avaliações iniciais e finais, o projeto de intervenção, bem como a progressão terapêutica e as respetivas conclusões e recomendações. Com base nos efeitos e repercussões positivas no desenvolvimento holístico das crianças acolhidas é possível afirmar que a Psicomotricidade se trata de uma intervenção terapêutica benéfica às crianças institucionalizadas e vítimas de maus-tratos, uma vez que são notórias as melhorias nos diversos casos acompanhados; -Abstract: Psychomotor Intervention with children institutionalized in a Residential Care Home The main objective of this report is to describe the activities carried out during the curricular internship for the Master's in Psychomotricity, which took place in a Residential Care Home. The intern, in both individual and group monitoring, carried out a relational-based psychomotor intervention with children who were victims of abuse. The therapeutic projects of four children were analyzed with a special focus on the two case studies where the anamnesis, explanatory hypotheses, initial and final assessment results, intervention plan, therapeutic progression, and respective conclusions and recommendations were presented. Based on the positive effects and impacts on the holistic development of the children in care, it is possible to affirm that Psychomotricity is a beneficial therapeutic intervention for institutionalized children who are victims of abuse, as significant improvements were observed in the various cases followed.
