Bibliotecas Itinerantes e Leitura Pública : Um projecto de Biblioteca itinerante para o Alto Alentejo- Distrito de Portalegre

Abstract

O presente trabalho centra-se na ideia de que o acesso à informação não está generalizado a todas as regiões do país, existindo populações de extrema carência informacional. Como tal, tentam encontrar-se soluções que possam minimizar esta deficiência, sendo a criação de uma biblioteca itinerante uma alternativa viável. Num momento em que a sociedade de informação o b r i ga à re f o rm u la çã o d e co n ce it o s co m o a ci d a d a n ia e a e d u c a çã o , promovendo uma crescente intersecção entre os dois, não se podem excluir populações deste movimento. A criação de uma biblioteca itinerante permite atingir dois objectives principais. Um deles é disponibilizar meios informacionais a todos os membros da comunidade local, incluindo o acesso às nova s tecnologias e o outro objectivo é oferecer sobretudo às crianças os meios para que possam evoluir de forma positiva contribuindo directa ou indirectamente para o progresso local.

###Abstract This work focuses on the ides that the access to information doesn't range every region of the country yet, once there still keep being populations which face, show extreme lack of information knowledge concerning this subject. Therefore, one has even trying to find solutions that can minimize this serious failure, being the creation of an itinerant library a feasible alternativa. At an age of global information which prometes a growing interaction between the continuaily changing concepts of citizenship and education, no one should be excluded.The creation of an itinerant library enables to achieve two main goals. One of them is to make information means availabie to every member of the local community, including the access to new technologies and the other aim is to provide children with the adequate means so that they can develop in a positive way, contributing this way to the local progress.
