Desafios na maternidade: vulnerabilidades das mulheres migrantes durante a gravidez e pós-parto

Abstract

Introdução: Neste Relatório sobre o estágio, evidenciou-se as competências do enfermeiro obstetra. Também se aprofundou a vulnerabilidade das mulheres migrantes, destacando desafios na gravidez e no pós-parto, que afetam a experiência materna e a qualidade dos cuidados prestados. Objetivo: Analisar reflexivamente a aquisição de competências comuns e específicas do enfermeiro obstetra durante o estágio, assim como a evidência relativa às vulnerabilidades das mulheres migrantes durante a gravidez e no pós-parto. Metodologia: Estágio realizado sob supervisão clínica e orientação pedagógica. Realizada revisão da literatura, assim como a reflexão de experiências clínicas. Resultados: Foram identificadas barreiras linguísticas e culturais, dificuldades no acesso à saúde e maior incidência de complicações obstétricas, quando comparadas com mulheres não migrantes. As intervenções dos enfermeiros obstetras incluíram comunicação intercultural, abordagens culturalmente sensíveis e congruentes e promoção do parto humanizado. It also delves into the vulnerability of migrant women, emphasizing the challenges they face during pregnancy and the postpartum period, which impact maternal experiences and the quality of care provided. Objective: To reflectively analyze the acquisition of common and specific competencies of the obstetric nurse during the internship, as well as the evidence related to the vulnerabilities of migrant women during pregnancy and postpartum. Methodology: The internship was conducted under clinical supervision and pedagogical guidance. A literature review was carried out, along with reflections on clinical experiences. Results: Identified challenges included language and cultural barriers, difficulties in accessing healthcare, and a higher incidence of obstetric complications compared to non-migrant women. Obstetric nurses' interventions included intercultural communication, culturally sensitive and congruent approaches and the promotion of humanized childbirth. Conclusion: The competencies inherent to the professional practice of obstetric nurses were acquired, along with those related to the topic under study.
