Ecos do pensamento político do Padre Manuel Antunes

Abstract

Na esteira da celebração do centenário do nascimento do Padre Manuel Antunes (1918-1985), é retomado o fio das suas reflexões, em particular as que ele próprio divulgou sob o título "Repensar Portugal". Debruçando-se, como ele fez, sobre as exigências de organização cívica e política da democracia, o pensamento antuniano deixou-nos pistas e desafios irrecusáveis para atendermos à hodierna realidade concreta, sem descurar certos ideais de um futuro assente em transformações educativas, ético-políticas e sociais. / In the wake of the celebration of the centenary of the birth of Father Manuel Antunes (1918-1985), the thread of his reflections is resumed, in particular those which he himself published under the title "Rethinking Portugal". Turning, as he did, to the demands of civic and political organization of democracy, Antunian thinking has left us with unavoidable clues and challenges to address today's concrete reality, without neglecting certain ideals of a future based on educational, ethical, political and social change.
