Concepções e práticas do dever de informação nos cuidados de enfermagem

Abstract

As motivações que encaminharam este estudo prendem-se com o repensar de questões profissionais à luz do Código Deontológico do Enfermeiro. Os objetivos foram: identificar dificuldades e fatores das práticas dos cuidados de enfermagem relacionados com os anos de serviço; identificar a perceção dos enfermeiros sobre o dever de informação nos cuidados de enfermagem; observar as práticas do dever de informação dos cuidados de enfermagem. Caracteriza-se como um estudo de caso, desenvolvido com 15 elementos da equipa de enfermagem de uma Unidade de Pediatria Geral, de um Hospital da zona de Lisboa, utilizando métodos de pesquisa qual quantitativa. As técnicas de colheita de dados utilizadas foram a observação- participante e o questionário. Os dados foram processados informaticamente e receberam tratamento estatístico de forma a possibilitar a análise das conceções e práticas do dever de informar nos cuidados de enfermagem, organizada de acordo com quatro dimensões: caracterização, cuidados de enfermagem, dever de informe: e prática ética. O estudo possibilitou constatar que existe a consciencialização e a prática do dever de informação, mas no entanto, existem lacunas do foro teórico que necessitam ser preenchidas com formação nesta área. /ABSTRACT - The motivations that directed this study bind itself with rethink of professional questions to the light of the Deontological Code of the Nurse. The main objectives were: to identify difficulties and factors of the practices of the cares of nursing related with the years of service; to identify the perception of the nurses about the information duty in the nursing care; to observe the practices of the information duty in the nursing care. It is characterized as a case study, developed with 15 elements of the team of nursing of the General Paediatrics Unit, in a general hospital in Lisbon area, using qualiquantitative research approaches. The data harvesting techniques used were the observation-participant and the questionnaire. The data were processed and received statistical handling in order to enable the analysis of the conceptions and practices of the information duty in the nursing care, and it was organized according four dimensions: characterization, nursing care, duty of information and practical ethics. The study enabled to establish that exists the consciencialization and the practise of the information duty, however there are gaps of the theoretical forum and they need to be filled with formation in this area.
