Acolhimento de enfermagem no pré-operatório das pessoas idosas hospitalizadas

Abstract

O utente idoso sente-se fragilizado quando é hospitalizado, recebê-lo bem, com uma atitude adequada é essencial para a articulação dos conhecimentos das ciências do comportamento para cuidar em enfermagem. O acolhimento significa a humanização do atendimento, fazendo parte integrante dos cuidados de enfermagem. Esta dissertação pretende analisar o Acolhimento de Enfermagem no pré-operatório da pessoa idosa hospitalizada. É um estudo exploratório, descritivo e recorreu a uma metodologia quantitativa. Foram definidos como objetivos, analisar o processo de acolhimento de enfermagem no pré-operatório dos idosos hospitalizados, mais especificamente, a satisfação dos mesmos em relação ao acolhimento prestado; a avaliação da importância atribuída ao acolhimento e identificar lacunas existentes no mesmo. Concluiu-se que a maioria da população considera satisfatório o acolhimento de enfermagem, existindo alguns aspetos que devem ser melhorados. Pretende-se com este estudo melhorar o Acolhimento de Enfermagem no serviço onde o mesmo decorreu, promovendo a melhoria contínua dos cuidados de enfermagem; ABSTRACT: The elderly patient generally feels weakened when he gets into hospital, thus, it is very important to welcoming him with a friendly and proper attitude. This way of treating people is essential to the articulation of knowledge of the behavioural sciences to nursing care. Home nursing care doesn’t exist without the humanization of procedures, patients have the right to be well-received before any surgical treatment. The following essay is going to examine in detail and analyse the nursing care in pre-surgical treatments of admitted elderly. In terms of methodology, this research is essentially based in practice explored and observations, using the exploratory, descriptive and quantitative methods. Therefore, one intend to analyse elderly reactions and opinions related to home nursing care in pre-surgical procedures, how pleased they are with the treatments, if this relationship is important or if there is something to be improved. Most people say that nursing home cares are quite adequated, they feel satisfied, however, there are still some aspects that should be improved. Likewise, not only this essay aims the improvement of home nursing care in surgery department, but also recommends continuous advancement of general nursing care.
