Prevenção do trauma perineal: intervenções do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem de saúde materna e obstétrica

Abstract

Introdução: Para conclusão do Mestrado em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica, o plano de estudos da Universidade de Évora prevê a Unidade Curricular de Estágio de Natureza Profissional com Relatório Final, proporcionando o desenvolvimento teórico-prático e aquisição de competências específicas pela mestranda. Objetivo: Descrever crítica e reflexivamente, o percurso de aquisição de competências do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica. Metodologia: Descrição e reflexão crítica das experiências vivenciadas ao longo do Estágio e aprofundamento da temática Prevenção do Trauma Perineal. Resultados: A aquisição de competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista, revelou-se positiva. O aprofundamento da temática contribuiu para adquirir e consolidar conhecimentos relativos aos cuidados prestados durante o ciclo vital da mulher. Conclusões: Os objetivos propostos neste relatório foram atingidos. Quanto às técnicas de prevenção de trauma perineal, a assistência à mulher deve ser baseada em evidência científica atualizada e, deste modo, contribuir para a redução das lesões perineais; - "Prevention of Perineal Trauma: Interventions by the Nurse Specialist in Maternal and Obstetric Nursing" ABSTRACT: Introduction: To complete the Master's degree in Maternal and Obstetric Nursing at the University of Évora, the curriculum includes the Professional Internship with a Final Report, providing theoretical-practical development and acquisition of specific skills by the student. Objective: To describe the journey of acquiring skills critically and reflectively for the Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Nursing. Methodology: Description and critical reflection on experiences throughout the Internship and in-depth exploration of the theme of Perineal Trauma Prevention. Results: The acquisition of common and specific skills for the Specialist Nurse proved to be positive. Delving into the theme contributed to acquiring and consolidating knowledge related to care provided during the woman's life cycle. Conclusions: The objectives outlined in this report were achieved. Regarding perineal trauma prevention techniques, care for women should be based on updated scientific evidence, thus contributing to the reduction of perineal injuries.
