Abrigo sobre as dunas: um novo modo de habitar temporário no estuário do Sado

Abstract

Esta dissertação tem por objectivo, através da prática de projecto, encontrar um resposta pertinente e com um olhar renovado sobre a paisagem, o ambiente e a influência do turismo nos espaços litorais nos dias de hoje. Procurando uma abordagem contrária às edificações sólidas que acabam por esgotar, em curto intervalo de tempo, a sua finalidade e com base em duas das tipologias mais antigas da arquitectura vernácula: a cabana e a palafita. É na busca sobre uma solução que visa a ligeireza em que se pretende incidir, procurando uma coerência de pensamento e actuação imediata, intensa e precisa arquitectonicamente. Tendo como base a arquitectura vernacular do local e os materiais da zona, foi possível a concepção de um abrigo, uma forma de habitar temporário, que respeite e potencialize o território envolvente do Estuário do Sado; ABSTRACT: This dissertation aims, through the practice of project, to find a relevant response with a refresh look at the landscape, environment and the influence of tourism in coastal spaces nowadays. Looking for an approach that is contrary to the solid contsructions that end up depleting, in a short period of time, it's purpose and based on one of the oldest typologies of vernacular architecture: the stilt. Is in the search for a solution that aims at lightness in wich is intended to focus, seeking a coherence of thought and immediate action, intensely and architecturally accurate. Having of potentialization of surrounding territory of the Sado Estuary. Based on the vernacular architectura of the site and the materials of the area, it was possible to design a shekter, a temporary habitation that respects and enhances the surrounding territory of the Sado estuary.
