Estudo de soluções sustentáveis aplicáveis a edifícios públicos - Casos de Estudo

Abstract

O conceito de construção sustentável é um tema que sugere uma resposta ao impacto que a construção tem sobre o ambiente. Porque o meio edificado é um dos grandes responsáveis pelas emissões de gases de efeito estufa, as soluções aplicadas à luz deste conceito ajudarão a reduzir o impacto ambiental e a melhorar o bem-estar do ser humano. Este estudo analisa as soluções construtivas adotadas em dois edifícios públicos e propõe novas soluções alternativas mais sustentáveis, para os elementos construtivos mais representativos, tendo em conta indicadores ambientais, funcionais e económicos. A partir dos resultados obtidos, verificou-se que é possível construir de uma forma mais sustentável para o mesmo grau de conforto, mas por outro lado, o tipo de utilização condicionou a adoção de mais soluções; Study of Sustainable Solutions Applicable to Public Buildings – Case Studies Abstract: The concept of sustainable construction is a theme that gives an answer to the impact construction has over the environment. Because buildings are one of the great responsible things for the greenhouse gas emissions and the solutions applied considering this concept will help reduce the environmental impact and improve humanity’s wellbeing. This study analyzes the constructive solutions adopted in two public buildings and proposes new alternatives solutions more sustainable for constructive elements that are more represented, considering the environmental, functional, and economic indicators. From the results obtained, was verified that it is possible to construct in a more sustainable way with the same degree of comfort, but the type of use limited the adoption of more solutions.
