Contributo da arquitetura paisagista no processo de revisão do POTRAM

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo salientar a importância dos conhecimentos da arquitetura paisagista como ciência no processo de revisão do Plano de Ordenamento Territorial da Região Autónoma da Madeira (POTRAM), introduzindo a paisagem como elemento fundamental nas diversas fases de desenvolvimento deste instrumento de gestão territorial. Pretende-se utilizar a oportunidade de estágio como uma contribuição válida na revisão do plano em causa, fazendo uma análise crítica ao POTRAM atualmente em vigor e justificando a necessidade da sua revisão face à nova realidade e contextualização entretanto verificada. A Região vive atualmente a possibilidade de poder articular e dar coerência ao sistema de gestão territorial, pelo que a revisão do PROT representa uma oportunidade para definir estratégias e orientações regionais que enquadrem e deem coerência aos PDM’s e contribuam para que estes representem, de facto, uma nova e atual geração de planos; Contribution of Landscape Architecture in the Review Process of the Plan of Spatial Planning of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. ABSTRACT: This work aims to highlight the importance of knowledge of landscape architecture as a science in the review of Spatial Plan of the Autonomous Region of Madeira process, introducing the landscape as a fundamental element in all stages of development of this instrument of territorial management. We intend to use the internship opportunity as a valid contribution to the revision of the plan in question, making a critical analysis to Spatial Plan of the Autonomous Region of Madeira currently in effect and justifying the need for its revision face the new reality and context however verified. The region currently lives the possibility to articulate and give coherence to the land management system, so that the revision of PROT is an opportunity to define regional strategies and guidelines that fit and give coherence to the Master Plans and contribute so that they represent a new generation and current plans.
