Um estudo prático sobre as marionetas de varão de arame no contexto do teatro de Beckett

Abstract

Com esta investigação, realizada no âmbito do Mestrado em Teatro, da Universidade de Évora, foi desenvolvido um trabalho de projeto, que permitiu descobrir e experimentar as possibilidades dramáticas e expressivas das marionetas de varão (de Évora) no contexto do teatro beckettiano. A partir da leitura e análise das peças Happy Days, Endgame, e Not I, do dramaturgo irlandês Samuel Beckett, foi possível a construção da peça “O que restou do futuro”, e o desenvolvimento de uma linguagem, que comunicasse temas pertinentes à contemporaneidade, sempre focada no trabalho pleno e criativo da atriz e marionetista; ABSTRACT: TITTLE: A practical study on stick puppet in the contexto of Beckett’s theater With this research, carried out as part of the Master's Degree in Theater at the University of Évora, project work was developed, which allowed us to discover and experiment with the dramatic and expressive possibilities of man puppets (from Évora) in the context of Beckett's theater. From the reading and analysis of the plays Happy Days, Endgame, and Not I, by the Irish playwright Samuel Beckett, it was possible to construct the play “What remains of the future”, and the development of a language that communicates themes relevant to contemporary times, always focused on the full and creative work of the actress and puppeteer.
