Abstract
The thermotolerance is the cell adaptation caused by a single exposure to heat, severe but not lethal. which enables the organismo to survive a subsequente lethal stress by the synthesis or accumulation of HSP.The results did not show a increase of HSP in Nelore cow leukocytes. The nelore leukocytes mantain abundance of transcripts in 38 and 40ºC but had a sunbstancial decrease at 42ºC , probably because at this temperature occurred a protein instability which unfeasible the transcription.
