Introdução precoce da posição do polegar no ensino do violoncelo

Abstract

Esta investigação intitulada Introdução Precoce da Posição do Polegar no Ensino do Violoncelo teve como objetivo principal defender e demonstrar as vantagens associadas à introdução da posição do polegar numa fase precoce/inicial da aprendizagem. Procedeu-se à observação sistemática das aprendizagens dos estudantes com os quais se contactou durante a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, relativamente à prática desta posição. Realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental sobre o tema, implementando-se um questionário tendo como público alvo os docentes de violoncelo a lecionar no Ensino Artístico Especializado da Música, em Portugal. A proposição inicial foi confirmada, concluindo-se que a aprendizagem da posição do polegar num momento mais precoce/inicial da aprendizagem é de grande valia para a evolução académica dos estudantes de violoncelo, facilitando a sua aprendizagem e desmistificando junto dos mais novos a complexidade associada a esta posição. - Early Introduction of Thumb Position in Cello Teaching - ABSTRACT:The main aim of this research, entitled Early Introduction of the Thumb Position in Cello Teaching, was to defend and demonstrate the advantages associated with introducing the thumb position at an early/initial stage of learning. We systematically observed the students' learning with whom we had contact during the Supervised Teaching Practice, in relation to the practice of this position. Bibliographical and documentary research was carried out on the subject, and a questionnaire was implemented with cello teachers working in Specialised Artistic Music Teaching in Portugal as the target audience. The initial proposition was confirmed, concluding that learning the thumb position at an early/initial learning stage is extremely valuable for the academic development of cello students, smoothing their learning and demystifying the complexity associated with this position among younger students.
