In this chapter, after having made some brief considerations of a theoretical nature, focus is placed on the analysis of practices that contribute to the improvement and evolution of the Life Designing framework to counseling. The development of the chapter is done via four main sections, followed by a conclusion. The chapter begins by highlighting how the gap between career counseling theories and reality has contributed to the emergence of the Life Designing Paradigm. In the second section, considerations are given to some topics which are currently debated in light of the new Life Designing Paradigm, with its relationship with counseling activity being presented. An approach to the process of counseling according to Life Designing perspectives and the importance of the analysis of practices for the continuous update and innovation of this framework for counseling follows. Finally, an investigation into the practice of career counseling and a case study that illustrates the practical contribution to the Life Designing framework to counseling is discussed.por
