Da norma à variação: estudo de caso sobre o uso do conjuntivo no português de Angola, especificidades no ensino superior

Abstract

A dissertação ora apresentada é mais um contributo que visa compreender a realidade linguística angolana, mormente a do português em/de Angola. Sabemos que o português em Angola é língua oficial, coexiste com um conjunto de línguas africanas de Angola. Assim, o estudo e a compreensão dos reais traços que o vão distinguindo das outras variedades são necessários. A nossa reflexão traz à tona o uso do conjuntivo no português falado em Angola, que aos poucos se vai distanciando do consagrado pela norma do português padrão europeu. Algumas das formas desviantes recorrentes nos falantes de PA foram atestadas em percentagem relativamente ínfima por informantes de PE, este facto demonstra tão só a complexidade do uso do conjuntivo, bem assim, indicia e atesta a variação e tendência de mudança no português falado em Angola, o que é natural com todas as línguas vivas. Considerámos para a nossa análise os dados de informantes, relativamente, homogéneos cientes de atitudes normativas, com recurso aos testes de produção induzida e juízo de gramaticalidade. Os resultados do nosso estudo sugerem descrições análogas e sistemáticas para a compreensão acurada das características reais do português falado em Angola, fazem-no também em relação à necessidade de uma planificação e política linguísticas assentes na valorização das línguas africanas de Angola, que até certo ponto, também são responsáveis pelas variações e tendências de mudança que o português experimenta; Abstract: From Norm to Variation: A case study on the use of the conjuctive in Angolan Portuguese, specifically in higher education. The dissertation here presented is yet another contribution that aims to understand angolan linguistic reality, principally that of portuguese in and of Angola. We know that portuguese is the official language of Angola, coexisting with group of local african languages. Thus, the study and understanding of the real signs that distinguish it from ohter varieties are necessary. Our reflexion brings to the surface the use of the conjuctive in portuguese spoken in Angola, which litle by litle has been distancing itself from the established norm of the european pattern of portuguese. Some of european the deviant forms recurring in speakers of angolan portuguese were observed in a relatively insignificant percentage by informants of european portuguese; this fact demonstrates the complexity of the use of the conjunctive, and also reveals the variation and tendency to change in the portuguese spoken in Angola, which is natural in all living languages. For our analysis, we considered data from informants, relatively uniform in their approach, through induced production tests and grammatical trials. The results of our study suggest analogous and sistematic descriptions for the improved comprehension of the real characteristics of the portuguese spoken in Angola, relating it to the need for a linguistic planning and policy, based on the appreciation of african languages of Angola which are, up to a point, responsible for the variations of and tendencies to change that portuguese is undergoing.
