Abstract

Baseada na computação em nuvem, a plataforma da Geolitix permitiu, posteriormente, o processamento dos dados GPR e ao mesmo tempo a sua integração com os dados geoespaciais, viabilizando assim a criação de diversas saídas gráficas que possibilitaram a interpretação e o mapeamento de algumas estruturas antrópicas no local; - CROSSING OF GEOSPATIAL AND GEOPHYSICAL METHODS FOR THE CHARACTERIZATION OF SUBSURFACE ANTHROPIC STRUCTURES NEAR VIMIOSO PALACE (ÉVORA) ABSTRACT: The present master's dissertation involves the exploration of the GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) geophysical method in an archaeological context, whose main goal is the characterisation and mapping of anthropogenic structures buried in the subsurface of Largo Miguel de Portugal in Évora, between the Vimioso Palace and the Cathedral of Évora. In addition to the GPR, geospatial methods were also integrated, namely the photogrammetry, enabling the acquisition of highresolution aerial photos of the surveyed area, allowing therefore to produce digital elevation models and orthophotos, which, together with the use of differential GNSS, enabled the georeferencing of the surveyed area. Based on cloud computing, the Geolitix platform subsequently allowed the processing of GPR data and its integration with geospatial data, thus enabling the creation of several graphical outputs that allowed for the interpretation and mapping of some anthropogenic structures on site.
