Abstract

Gestus – Continued Paths in Theatrical Practices during childhood or/and youth and the Life Trajectories - Abstract:This investigation emerges from my concerns as an artist/ pedagogue/ citizen. Intends to understand the translation of continued paths in theatrical practices during childhood or/and youth in the participants life`s trajectories and searches for possible routes that lead to a development of more just, empathetic, cooperative and happier societies. Methodologically inspired by Kathy Charmaz´s (2006) Constructing Grounded Theory, in an empowering approach of the three research participants' voices, it uses the autobiographical method through semi-structure interviews and letters- autobiographical narratives. It was concluded that these paths had reflection on three universes of the life trajectories: i) Identity and Personal Development; ii) Relationships and Community Sense; iii) Personal and Professional Achievement. Continued theatrical practice and in this stage of life revealed to be foundational/ structuring: a self- improvement vehicle that allows the acquisition of knowledge/ skills, permeabilizing consciously empathic relationship with the world, contributing to the (re) construction of reality.
