Abstract

The chapter tries, in an objective way, to relate the history of the medieval town of Monsaraz and the main events related to it with the places - streets, squares, churches. It was sought a comprehensive speech, for various audiences, relating also the heritage issues with the landscape environment of the place. // O capítulo procura, de forma objectiva, relacionar a história da vila medieval de Monsaraz e os principais acontecimentos a ela relacionados com os lugares - ruas, praças, igrejas. Procurou-se um discurso abrangente, para vários públicos, relacionando ainda as questões patrimoniais com a envolvente paisagística do lugar.
