Tuberculose: um desafio no cuidar - visita domiciliária aos doentes com tuberculose do CDP de Setúbal

Abstract

O Centro de Diagnóstico Pneumológico (CDP) de Setúbal dedica-se ao tratamento de doentes com Tuberculose. Os casos diagnosticados iniciam tratamento antibacilar, ficando em regime de Toma Observada Directamente (TOD) neste serviço. Sempre que o doente não apresentava condições para se deslocar diariamente a este serviço, a toma de medicação passava a ser assegurada pela Unidade de Cuidados na Comunidade, não havendo feedback da sua monitorização. O presente trabalho versa sobre “Tuberculose: Um Desafio no Cuidar” e teve como objetivo geral “Implementar Visita Domiciliária (VD) aos doentes com Tuberculose Pulmonar, do CDP de Setúbal”. Para tal desenvolveram-se várias estratégias como caracterizar sócio demograficamente a população, estabelecer parcerias com os recursos da comunidade, realizar sessões de educação para a saúde e implementar VD. Os resultados demonstraram que o objetivo foi alcançado pois a VD está a ser realizada a todos os doentes impossibilitados de se deslocarem ao CDP e este conseguiu uma taxa de 100% de adesão ao tratamento; ABSTRACT: The Diagnostic Center Pulmonology (CDP) in Setúbal is dedicated to the treatment of patients with tuberculosis. The cases diagnosed that initiated antituberculous treatment, stay under the Directly Observed Treatment (DOT) in this service. When the patients don’t have conditions to move to this daily service, the medication was provided by Continuing Care, not having feedback of its monitoring. The present paper it´s about "Tuberculosis: A Challenge to Care" and had as general objective "Implementing Domiciliary Visit in patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis, on the CDP of Setubal." For this have developed various strategies to characterize sociodemographically the population, establish partnerships with community resources, conduct education sessions for health and implement Domiciliary Visit. The results showed that the objective has been achieved because the DV is being performed to all patients unable to move to the CDP and this achieved a rate of 100% adherence on the treatment.
