Breve nota histórica sobre as características das empresas agroindustriais que se multiplicam desde finais do século XIX e durante a I República, combinando o processamento de diferentes produtos agrícolas, com a actividade comercial e industrial a jusante. = Brief historical note about the agroindustrial firms that had a steady growth since the end of the 19th century and during the First Republic, combining the processing of different agricultural goods with trade and industry.
