Abstract
This study investigated stress, well-being, and coping strategies among university students (N=204) in a post-pandemic context, focusing on gender differences. Key findings showed that female students experienced higher chronic stress and utilized emotional coping more frequently, aligning with existing literature. Conversely, rational coping was positively associated with well-being. The regression analysis highlighted that optimism, chronic stress, gender, and coping styles significantly predicted well-being. The results underscore the necessity for gender-specific mental health interventions aimed at enhancing rational coping and emotional regulation, while also fostering optimism.
