Cuidar +: sobrecarga dos prestadores de cuidados de utentes dependentes

Abstract

A sobrecarga do cuidador informal integra uma problemática importante e atual a que deve-mos dar grande atenção. Para a realização deste trabalho, recorre-se ao uso de um breve questionário estruturado que é preenchido pelo investigador bem como as escalas. A avaliação da sobrecarga é realizada com recurso a escala de Sobrecarga do Cuidador e a avaliação da dependência é realizada com recurso ao uso da escala de Barthel. Assim, este projeto tem como finalidade, integrar a comunidade nes-te projeto e estabelecer parcerias, no sentido de dar uma resposta mais efetiva aos proble-mas/necessidades identificadas na comunidade. OBJETIVO: Diminuir a sobrecarga causado pelos cuidados a utentes dependentes nos presta-dores de cuidados através de um projeto de intervenção comunitário na UCC do concelho de Lagoa. METODOLOGIA: A metodologia utilizada é projeto de intervenção, sendo um estudo transver-sal e descritivo, de carácter quantitativo. RESULTADOS: Contribuir para o alívio da sobrecarga do prestador de cuidados de utentes dependentes UCC do concelho de Lagoa. CONCLUSÃO: Os vários estudos mostram a importância de realizar projetos de intervenção nesta área, com vista a prevenir problemas de saúde nos cuidadores informais. A avaliação será realizada tendo em conta os objetivos delineados e as metas se foram atingidas; ABSTRACT: Overload of Caregivers of Dependent Users Informal caregiver overload integrates a major and current problem that we should pay close attention to. For the accomplishment of this work we use a brief structured questionnaire, filled in by the researcher as well a scale. The evaluation of the overload is performed through the Caregiver Overload scale and the evaluation of dependence is performed by the Barthel scale. Thus, this project aims to integrate the community in this project and establish partnerships, in order to give a more effective response to the problems / needs identified in the community. OBJECTIVE: To reduce the overhead caused by caring for dependent users in care providers through a community intervention project in the county of Lagoa METHODOLOGY: The methodology used is an intervention project, being a transversal and de-scriptive, quantitative study RESULTS: To contribute to the alleviation of the overload of the care provider of dependent UCC users of the municipality of Lagoa. CONCLUSION: The various studies show the importance of carrying out intervention projects in this area in order to prevent health problems in informal caregivers. The evaluation will be car-ried out taking into account the objectives outlined and the goals have been achieved.
