O Cante Alentejano como ferramenta pedagógica para a aprendizagem do trombone

Abstract

O presente trabalho de investigação encontra-se dividido em duas partes distintas. A primeira parte corresponde ao relatório de estágio, que integra as unidades curriculares de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada no Ensino Vocacional de Música I e II, decorrido ao longo do ano letivo 2021/2022, no Conservatório Regional do Baixo Alentejo, na classe de trombone do professor Nuno Lopes. A segunda parte refere-se ao projeto de investigação, tendo como objetivo aprofundar conhecimentos relativamente a alguns aspetos técnicos do trombone de vara, recorrendo à utilização de temas do Cante Alentejano. Este estudo incidirá sobre os seguintes aspetos técnicos: respiração, produção e qualidade do som, articulação, flexibilidade, registo e música de câmara. Como se constatou durante a realização da Pratica de Ensino Supervisionada, a utilização de temas populares conhecidos, como o Cante Alentejano, pode incentivar e dinamizar o ensino e aprendizagem do instrumento, permitindo ao aluno o desenvolvimento de aspetos técnicos, interpretativos e performativos, possibilitando ainda a divulgação e manutenção de algo tão característico e tradicional da região alentejana, reconhecido como Património Cultural e Imaterial pela UNESCO; Cante Alentejano as an educational tool for learning the Trombone Abstract: The present investigation work is divided into two distinct parts. The first part refers to the internship report, which belongs to the curricular units “Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Ensino Vocacional de Música I e II”, one and two, respectively, taking place throughout the school year 2021/2022, in Conservatório Regional do Baixo Alentejo, with Trombone teacher Nuno Lopes. The second part refers to an investigation project, with the goal of gaining more knowledge relative to the technique of the slide trombone, using traditional folk music from Alentejo region. This study will mainly focus on technical aspects such as: breathing, sound production and quality, articulation, flexibility, range, and chamber music work. As it was shown during the internship course, the use of popular folk songs, like Cante Alentejano, can motivate and energize the teaching and learning of the instrument, giving the student the possibility to develop technique, interpretation and performance while maintaining alive this music tradition, recognized as Intagible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
