Earth’s surface heat flux has been calculated by several authors. All of them agree with the mean value obtained in continents. In young oceanic regions, measured values doesn’t agree with heat flow values obtained for the same regions, using models. This fact has been explained by several authors who says that the heat flow is affected by hydrothermal circulation, but, some authors doesn’t agree with this argument and try to present models that fits the data. We present some models, the results obtained, and how they can influence the heat loss through the surface of the Earth.por
