A comunicação como paradigma instaurador da humanidade: uma leitura de Vilém Flusser

Abstract

A comunicação como paradigma instaurador da humanidade é tese que deriva de, e simultaneamente, propicia uma leitura interpretativa da tessitura essencial na qual se articula o pensamento flusseriano. Pretende-se mostrar de que modo a comunicação é fundamento de toda a cultura humana, e de que forma as instâncias comunicativas a perfazem e assinalam as suas inflexões, constituindo-se, em si mesmas, como modos de ser. A proposta de análise, marcada por um questionar fenomenológico, permitirá pesquisar em várias perspetivas e conjugações, a partir de saltos tradutórios, o estatuto da palavra (língua e escrita), da imagem (tradicional e sintética) e do gesto, enquanto modos de ser que configuram e modelam a condição humana. Esta está, então, inscrita no universo dos códigos. A articulação do pensamento flusseriano, devedor de um conjunto restrito de categorias que, por combinação e recombinação várias, constroem mapas descritores do ser da realidade a partir do vivido, convoca para a compreensão de uma nova etapa social e humana. Este novo tempo é caracterizado por critérios não-históricos: o homem ludens, que se define como projeto, dotado de competências técnico-imaginativas, inserido numa sociedade pós-histórica e movendo-se entre inobjetos (undinge). A possibilidade de inteligir esta época instaura-se em focalizações problemáticas cujo carácter onto-epistémico e existencial serão condição indispensável para uma filosofia da comunicação – disciplina transdisciplinar e englobante; ### ABSTRACT: THE COMMUNICATION AS A PARADIGM THAT ESTABLISHES THE HUMANKIND. A VILÉM FLUSSER’S READING The communication as a paradigm that establishes the humankind is the thesis that derives from and, simultaneously, propitiates an interpretative reading of the essential contexture in which the flusserian thinking can be articulated. The aim is to show how communication is the foundation of all human culture and in which way the communicative instances accomplish it, point out its inflexions, setting up, in themselves, modes of being. The analysis proposal, shaped by a phenomenological inquiry, will allow performing research on several perspectives and conjugations – from translational jumps – the word (language and written word) status, the image (traditional and synthetic) status and the gesture status, as modes of being that set up and model the human condition. The latter is then inscribed on a web of codes. Flusserian thinking articulation, debtor of a strict set of categories which, through several combinations and re-combinations, builds maps that describe being and reality from what is experienced, calls an understanding of a new social and human stage. This new time is characterized by non-historical criteria: the ludens man, which is defined as a project, gifted with techno-imaginative competences, immersed in a post-historical society and moving around among non-objects (undinge). The possibility of thinking this era establishes itself by problematic focalizations whose onto-epistemic and existential character will be inevitable condition towards a philosophy of communication -- a comprehensive and inclusive discipline.
