Intervenção psicomotora em saúde mental infanto-juvenil: dois estudos de caso

Abstract

O presente relatório tem por objetivo a descrição das atividades desenvolvidas na Unidade de Pedopsiquiatria do Hospital Garcia de Orta, área da saúde mental infantojuvenil, referente ao Mestrado em Reabilitação Psicomotora pela Universidade de Évora. O estágio foi integrado numa equipa multidisciplinar, durante o qual foram acompanhados 3 grupos e 6 casos individuais. O relatório engloba o enquadramento teórico, legal e institucional, salientando-se a contribuição da psicomotricidade no contexto da saúde mental e a reflexão profissional e pessoal relacionada com a evolução durante a experiência de estágio. Serão apresentados dois estudos de caso enquanto modelos demonstrativos, onde será descrita toda a intervenção, a avaliação inicial e a decorrente formulação das hipóteses explicativas da dinâmica das características reveladas pela criança ou adolescente acompanhado, ao delineamento e aplicação do programa de intervenção (i.e., definição de objetivos, estratégias, sessão-tipo, etc.), e respetiva avaliação; Abstract: The purpose of this report is to describe the activities carried out at the Pedopsychiatry Unit of the Garcia de Orta Hospital, in the area of mental health in children and adolescents, referring to the Master Degree in Psychomotor Rehabilitation by the University of Évora. The internship was integrated into a multidisciplinary team, during which, 3 groups and 6 individual cases were followed up. The report encompasses the theoretical, legal and institutional framework, emphasizing the contribution of psychomotricity in the context of mental health and professional and personal reflection related to the evolution during the internship experience. Two case studies will be presented as demonstrative models, where all the interventions will be described, the initial evaluation and the resulting formulation of the explanatory hypotheses of the characteristics revealed by the child or adolescent in study, the design and application of the intervention program (ie, definition objectives, strategies, session-type, etc.), and their evaluation.
