Análise de perfis longitudinais em leitos rochosos - evolução de tributários do rio Tejo em Portugal, desde o Pliocénico

Abstract

Graded stream longitudinal profiles of Tejo River tributaries were used to estimate the fluvial incision since the first inset of the drainage (N1) during the incision stage. The projected graded profile was correlated with the oldest terrace of the Tejo River (T1 – Monte do Pinhal Terrace, in Vila Velha de Ródão), with about 1 Ma. The obtained incision rate post-N1, that presented values comprised between 0.38 and 0.12 m/ka, is similar to regional uplift rate determined by other geomorphic references.
