Tratamento arquivístico do fundo documental da Adega Cooperativa das Cortes no Arquivo Distrital de Leiria

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio tem por objectivo descrever as actividades desenvolvidas entre 13 de Janeiro e 19 de Junho do presente ano, no Arquivo Distrital de Leiria, no âmbito da conclusão do Curso de Mestrado em Ciências da Informação e Documentação, ministrado na Universidade de Évora. O trabalho desenvolvido durante o estágio consistiu essencialmente no tratamento e organização do conteúdo documental da Adega Cooperativa das Cortes. Este fundo documental constitui um dos poucos exemplos relativos às Adegas Vinícolas que se conseguiu recuperar e preservar, não obstante o encerramento da Instituição. Este trabalho comporta duas partes fundamentais: a primeira, referente à contextualização e enquadramento histórico da Adega Cooperativa das Cortes; a segunda expõe as actividades desenvolvidas no estágio. Depois de uma breve caracterização do local do estágio e de uma contextualização histórica da Instituição em causa, fazemos algumas considerações gerais e teóricas sobre a organização de um fundo documental, no sentido de se compreender melhor as funções desenvolvidas por nós durante o estágio. Na segunda parte, descrevemos e avaliamos as diferentes actividades exercidas, centradas essencialmente na organização e tratamento arquivístico do Fundo Documental da Adega Cooperativa das Cortes. Deste relatório constam ainda outras partes acessórias, nomeadamente: introdução, conclusão, bibliografia e anexos. – ABSTRACT: The purpose of this probation period's report is to describe the activities developed between 13th January and 19th June of the present year, in the District Archive of Leiria. This was done to attain a Master degree in Documentation and lnformation Sciences at the University of Évora. The developed work during this probation period consisted essentially in the treatment and organization of the documental content of the Cooperativa Wine Cellar of Cortes. This Documental Fund is one of the few examples related to Vinicultura Wine Cellars that was recovered and preserved in spite of its closing due to the lack of competitiveness of the Portuguesa agriculture in a new political and economic context after 1985. This work is constituted by two essential parts: the first one, refers to the contextualization and historical framing of the Cooperative Wine Cellar of Cortes; the second one, exposes the activities developed in the probation period. After a brief characterization of the place where the probation period took place and of the historical contextualization of this institution, some general and theoretic considerations were done concerning the organization of the Documental Fund. The purpose was to improve the insight considering the functions developed during the probation period. ln the second part, we describe and evaluate the different activities exercised, concentrating essentially in the organization and archivist treatment of the Documental Fund of the Cooperative Wine Cellar of Cortes. This report still contains other additional parts, namely: introduction, conclusion, bibliography and annexes.
