Aplicação da análise Fry a ocorrências de Cu (-Fe) da Faixa Metalogénica Sousel-Barrancos: primeira aproximação

Abstract

The application of spatial point distribution analysis methods is widely used to find hidden orientations and internal organization of data. The application of these methods to mineralizations is recurrent since the beginning of the 20th century, namely applying the Fry classical method. This method is applied to the Cu (-Fe) occurrences of the Sousel-Barrancos Metallogenic Belt, and the first results are presented here. This analysis allows to identify the Variscan regional structure as one of the main conditioning factors for the installation of mineralized dykes. Although, with similar orientations, there are variations in the trend of structures both in the Alandroal and Barrancos mineralization clusters.
